We believe absolute transparency is the only way to uphold the trust you place in us every time you purchase a Rainbow Light formula. That transparency begins with the way we formulate and extends through every ingredient choice all the way to the finished goods and the bottles in which they are delivered to you.
The effectiveness of our formulas depends on the quality of our processes. That’s why Rainbow Light has put in place quality assurance measures and standards that are implemented at every stage of manufacturing, from sourcing raw materials to production and finished goods testing.
Sourcing the purest, highest quality ingredients is a priority in Rainbow Light’s formulating process. Whenever possible, we source certified organic and non-GMO ingredients for our formulas. In addition, during our sourcing process we require:
Documentation of all allergen, GMO status and origin of material
Potency testing and botanical identification using internationally validated methodologies*: AOAC (Association of Analytical Chemists), HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography), FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) and HPTLC (High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography)
All organic ingredients adhere to National Organic Program (NOP) guidelines
All inbound raw materials are tested in-house, as well as by third-party labs to ensure that our products provide the authentic ingredients and potencies listed on the label. In addition, all raw materials are tested to ensure they are free of heavy metals, pesticides and contaminants.
Once the purity of our ingredients has been verified, our supplements are carefully blended and bottled at our GMP-registered, certified organic facility in Sunrise, FL.
After blending and bottling, Rainbow Light tests finished goods in-house and via third-party labs to verify that what’s on label is what’s in the bottle, and that our products are free of heavy metals, pesticides and other contaminants. In addition, all Certified Rainbow Light formulas are certified organic by Quality Assurance International.
* While DNA analysis is an excellent identity tool and extremely accurate for raw unprocessed herbs, its use may not be appropriate for extracted ingredients and has not been validated for finished products.

We use certified organic, non-GMO spirulina (a nutrient-rich algae) as the primary food base in our supplements. Because it has soft cell walls, spirulina is exceptionally easy to digest. It’s a nourishing source of complete vegetarian protein and wide array of nutrients including omega fatty acids, B vitamins, beta-carotene and trace minerals.
Spirulina is also highly sustainable as a renewable food source. It has a short harvest lifecycle and is farmed using aquaculture, which has a low environmental footprint as no fertilizers or pesticides are needed.
Spirulina is clearly a best choice for packing a nutritional punch – it’s the perfect superfood for a small planet!
