Omega 3’s are recognized as an important part of the diet for pregnant and nursing mothers or women who are about to become pregnant. Prenatal DHA Smart Essentials® features concentrated omega-3 essential fatty acids, including 250 milligrams of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which is important for brain, eye, and nerve development, plus supportive levels of choline and vitamin E.*

Easy to Digest, Gentle on the Stomach & Pure

Prenatal DHA Smart Essentials™ is formulated to be easy to digest with no fishy taste, burp-back or smell. This formula uses wild, sustainable, deep ocean fish that are molecularly distilled for exceptional purity and independently tested for toxins. Orange peel essential oil adds a sweet, citrus-fresh scent to the already deodorized fish oil plus it supports digestion, making it highly palatable for all populations’ especially pregnant women.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I really wanted to love these. I feel as if though they were overly chalky and I tried several times to use these. They just didnt work for me. Overall price wise Theyre not bad for the amount you get but they just did not work for me at all

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The product itself was great and I felt I was getting what I needed for me and baby. Once I hit the second trimester, I couldnt swallow the pills anymore. They had a distinct taste and the pills are large in size. I then switched to gummies!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved this product. If it wasnt so expensive I would have stuck with this my entire pregnancy. It definitely needs to be taken on a full stomach but was so worth the added benefits of DHA. I used it during my first trimester and then switched to nature made due to price problems.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from For the price this vitamin is fine. The folate is synthetic which I cannot recommend, but otherwise this is a fine option.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misleading information In the middle of the pandemic I started taking Prenatal vitamins. Trying to get in and out of the store quickly I saw this brand on sale and based on the name "Smart Essentials" I figured it had the essentials of a prenatal covered. MAN was I wrong. I have been taking these for a few months thinking I was getting the folic acid suggested but that is not the case. I would consider folic acid an essential part of a prenatal. Now that I am pregnant I hope development goes smoothly but I think the name needs to be a little more clear for those who are just trying to stay safe in today's world. Very disappointed and upset by this misleading branding.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These prenatals were some of the only ones I could find without shellfish or soy in them! They definitely made my pregnancy easier. They are a little pricey, but definitely worth it. They are also some of the only prenatals that have just enough iron without upsetting my stomach
